𝑯𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒑𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒘𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘 - Your list of certifications in your LinkedIn title don't make you stand out from the crowd, they blend you in.
I don't mean to specifically call out SAFE here as others are guilty of it too. Nor do I intend to say that learning and progression should be stifled, far from it. Certs do have value, they are part of a continuous learning culture, enable networking and shared knowledge with diverse individuals.
What the below image shows however is how far 'agile' has been commoditised in 2020. This commoditisation will have both have positives and negatives evidently, there is clearly a gap in the market and people have voted with their feet and or wallets.
This does reek rather strongly of profiteering however and not agile values.
I'm not Daenerys stormborn, mother of dragons and breaker of chains, but time for me to'Catch em all' and become "Chris Stone, APM, LPM, ARCH, ASE, SGP, SDP, SPC, RTE, POPM, SASM, SSM, SP and finally, SA.
