I'm often thinking about change and too often, I hear people lament about a situation without suggesting a solution or an alternative. Or worse still, not taking any action to change the situation.
This image for me is a great reminder. You have two options, take action to change a situation you aren't happy with, or alter your mindset towards it. Or even, try a blend of both.
𝘼 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡 𝙚𝙭𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚;
In the past, I was unhappy with my weight. I wasn't as healthy as I should have been and I constantly judged myself for not being good enough.
Changing the situation through taking action and experimenting with ways to be healthier, helped me incrementally improve the situation.
Changing my mindset towards my health meant instead of judging myself for not being better, I began thinking about the positive steps I was taking to improve and focused instead on my trajectory rather than individual or specific results such as a single weigh in.
